If you’re thinking about using the Lomo Fisheye camera, then you’re really lucky. It’s one of the greatest cameras out there. Why? Well, living your life in Lomography style is a gift you can give yourself. Using plain old digital cameras is ordinary and commonplace. But a toy camera like the Fisheye creates a whole new photographic experience that most people will never get to experience.

You Gotta Get Close With This Camera

If you’ve never used a Fisheye lens before, you’re missing out! It’s one of the few camera lenses other than a Macro lens that lets you get super close to whatever you’re going to take a picture of. Take advantage of this! If you’re out taking pictures of your friends, get in close like you’re about to give them a big fat wet kiss. You can’t be shy when using this camera if you want the best shots. Plus, The Lomo Fisheye allows you to get close enough to make conversation with whomever you want!

The Camera That WIll Change The Way You Think

Normal cameras only give you a small perspective of the world. But a Lomo Fisheye camera lets you look at it in all sorts of crazy ways that you’ve never even imagined. When you’re armed with this camera, you need to look at your world like everything is completely new. A god isn’t just a dog – you have to get close and see it with new eyes. When you find something cool, think of at least 5 different ways you can shoot it and the Lomo Fisheye will give you a unique result each time.

You Can Cross Process For Crazy Effects

If you know anything about Lomography, you know that cross processing is the ultimate Lomo technique. And you can do the same with a Fisheye. I remember I took some great self portraits with some Fuji slide film and everything was a cool red and blue after processing. You can put different types of film in your Fisheye and color your world a different way each time.

Here’s an extra tip – shoot a roll of film in your Lomo Fisheye Camera and then rewind it until there’s just a little tab left. Then, shoot the roll of film again through an LC-A or any other film camera you have. You’ll get very strange and other worldly effects.
